About Me

As a generalist at heart, I have a broad interest in many things that are ultimately some form of storytelling. Currently I am focused on sound and music for games and film, but in my spare time I enjoy writing stories or working on my own little storytelling projects. I’ve participated in game jams as well as film festival projects such as the 48-hour film project.

Because I have an interest in both the creative and the technical side of making games, I’m uniquely positioned of bridging these worlds and translating the needs of creative people to the technical-minded, or vice-versa.

Having worked for Savvii managed WordPress hosting from 2018-2021 has allowed me to both deepen and broaden my technical skills as well as my communication and collaborative skills. In my role a support agent and later a junior DevOps I have learned to quickly identify root causes for any issues the customers may experience by listening carefully and asking the right questions.

I’m currently studying game architecture and design at Breda University of Applied Sciences where I’ve specialized in (interactive) audio since my 2nd year of study. The practical, project-based approach of the program has allowed me to get hands-on experience recording, editing, and integrating sound effects as well as writing and recording music for games.
